The Institution Library

Full fledged computerised library with a vast collection of books including Indian and foreign reference books enable access to quality study material. This all-important resource centre supports the teaching and learning activities of the Institute staff and students. The library also has very neat and tidy study places if you are looking for a quiet environment in which to work. The library website provides easy access to electronic resources, which include networked databases, electronic journals and the web. There are designated silent and group work areas in the library and modern computer clusters for your convenience.

Computerised Monitoring & Analysis

The progress of each student in examinations is monitored continuously with the aid of computers and graphical analysis is done so as to ensure that the student does not fall behind the bench mark set.

Introduction of high value certificate programme for Auto Cad and specialised design course for respective branches have been lauded by students and parents alike.

Techline

Technical magazine of VIET, Techline, comes out once a month providing insight into technological advancements around the globe and has spurred the throughts of adult and student fraternity alike. It acts as the voice of VIET and its biggest asset is that it provides technical knowledge in Malayalam.

Dress code

The Institution has its dress code for the students.While boys wear Navy blue trousers and Steel grey shirt ,girls wear Navy blue churidar and Steel grey overcoat.

Institution bus

The institute has its own bus for the conveyance of students as and when required. For girl students, this facility has been made essential.

Bank

The State Bank of Travancore has a branch near the college.

Shopping

Well stocked shopping centers cater to the various needs of the students and the staff. The shopping center in the campus has stationery and gift items shop and a xerox and telecom center.
